Jeremy began a conscious path of healing, awakening and intuitive development during his first year of art school at The Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 1988. He found his place as cofounder at the Institute of Self Awareness, in Milwaukee  shortly thereafter where he worked alongside early pioneers in the practice of Reiki, aura energy awareness, thought mechanics, spiritual awareness and consciousness studies.

Many years later, Jeremy loves to create community and share all that he has learned in his life long journey as a very dedicated healer and teacher in his classes and individual sessions. Jeremy has always used various art materials to explore his mind and to express himself. As a child his mother would leave her art supplies on the table as she was going to college for art.

Jeremy is a proud father of Iris who is now a teenager and an incredible Middle School student. Iris has been a stellar student and an amazing leader at school and in the many areas of her life.

This photo was taken at a weekend long Girl Scout summer camp for dads and daughters. Iris learned to shoot a compound bow and arrow, find her way through an orienteering course with a compass, build a fire and many other things. It was  a hot summer weekend so we spent plenty of time in the swimming pool.

During the late summer of 2017, Jeremy began looking around Madison for a Girl Scout Troop for Iris, his 6 year old daughter. After many phone calls and emails with various troop leaders and with the Badger Land Girl Scout Organization there were no openings for a new scout. At that point, he decided to help start Troop 8184.

As a Coleader, after 6 years of service, he was celebrated for his work with the troop at Picnic Point around the site 2 campfire. His contributions included teaching fire building, knife sharpening, knot tying, personal finance, artistic self expression and much more. Jeremy considers his Coleading experience as one of the most rewarding things that he has done with his life.

Jeremy was so grateful to his friend Ben that he decided to create a playful drawing of him and Rue a favorite dance partner in the Cuban style of Salsa dancing. Ben taught him Cuban Salsa along with other forms of latin dance. Jeremy is now dedicated to learning any form of Salsa dancing and any form of latin dance. You can now take a salsa dance lesson from Jeremy at Unity Church on a given Sunday afternoon or take a lesson from him in his teaching studio.

Jeremy is not just your ordinary Metro Operator for the City of Madison. As a Reiki Master and a person who loves to run energy blessings for the many neighborhoods of Madison, his dedication as a healer and teacher definitely crosses over to other areas of his life. Jeremy will soon receive a new jacket that shows that he has had 20 years of safe service.

Jeremy loves to walk slowly through almost any type of museum. He might be staring for many long minutes at Vincent Vangoh's self portrait at the Chicago Art Intstitute, studying the details of the painting of President Washington on the Delaware at the Met in New York City or hanging out with a favorite Marvel character at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.

Jeremy has a passionate intellect and a very broad understanding of many fields of study. What might be truly noteworthy is that he often would rather share the importance of putting the intellect aside enough so that you can have a direct discovery of the spiritual essence that is within and all around.
